EXCELLENT EPIC ROASTHOUSE

San Francisco, CA- Epic Roasthouse has a spectacular view from the upstairs private dining room of the San Francisco-Oakland bay bridge and bay waters. Our sales team and our guests were comfortably seated around the linen covered tables.

With a glass of Fisticuff 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley, I was enjoying the view and the dinner.

The seafood platter appetizer seemed it was plucked from the bay - oysters, tuna tartar, fish ceviche, and (from the gulf) shrimp.

Sweet corn soup- was creamy and sweet.

Little gem salad avocado buttermilk dressing is refreshing.

Grilled asparagus- crispy and nutty and smoky flavoring.

Truffle whipped potatoes is creamy, buttery and savory. Chef Jan didn't skimp on the truffle oil.

My main was the Prime rib 14 oz, medium rare, melt in mouth heaven. It was a little on the rare side, but tastier if it were more on the medium side.

Dessert: Vanilla raspberry creme brulee is just right sweet and the crackly brunt sugar topping is caramel crunchy. Banana Chocolate cake is moist and the caramel sea salt ice cream complimented the cake.

This is a definite go back place. It's been my second time. Service is attentive and friendly. The Kuleto team does this right.
